safari+email=error

Using os10.2.8, when i login to my email account with isp TDS, I enter my username and password, but when i click on enter, safari changes the domain name from "tds.net" to "chorus.net". TDS did buy Chorus and converted email users to tds, but I cannot find any cookie or other entry that controls this change. I use IE, Netscape, Opera and iCab with no problem.
