How to increase size of Alphabet sidebar in Contacts

Does anyone know how to increase the size of the alphabet sidebar in Contacts? It's so tiny and my fingers just don't work that well with it. I'm constantly hitting the sidebar over and over again to get it to work. So, I figured it would be better if the alphabet bar is just a little bit bigger font so my fingers can hit it more accurately. Also, does someone know how to keep the "Search" box always at the top of the page (when you scroll down in the alphabet, it disappears).

You cannot change the size of the font in the sidebar. The way the sidebar is meant to work (I think) is you tap near the letter that you wish to 'skip' to, and whilst keeping your finger pressed, slide your finger up or down to quickly jump to surrounding letters. I hope that makes sense!

Unfortunately the position of the searchbar cannot be changed to a 'floating' position, but you are most welcome to forward your suggestions to the link posted above.

You can increase the sidebar size or freeze the search box. You can send feedback to Apple - http://apple.com/feedback so they know someone would be interested in this sort of feature.
