Safari crashing on myspace.com

Safari is very consistantly crashing on myspace.com. The pages seem to load fine, but soon freeze the whole browser, and you'll end up getting the rolling ball forever... The only solution is to Force Quit Safari. I'm using Tiger 10.4.2 on a Dual G5 1.8 running Safari ver 2.0.1 (412.5). I've got all the latest updates, including the new javascript one, which I thought might be the cause of all the crashes on this site. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

Usually most myspaces that crash/freeze safari are the ones with 50 thousand flashing/blinking gifs and animated crap and falling text and cursor trails and 5 music videos playing at a time.

Safari's simply overwhelmed by all the scripts/plugins it's trying to run at the same time, so it just freezes or crashes.

Unfortunately short of globally turning off plugins/scripts (like they suggested above), the only other fix is to have that person not put that much stuff in their myspace.

I personally can't stand those annoying myspaces anyway, so I try to avoid them.
