Probably your best bet is to get an external Blue Ray DVD drive. I Googled Blue Ray for iMac and came up with:

Yes. You can use any external BD drive (USB or FireWire) with your iMac.
No. You cannot watch BD movies on your Mac. While I can't discuss all the causes, it comes down to a failure of the many different parties that hold patents related to Blu-Ray failing to reach terms with Apple over the licensing of the technology. If the patent holders won't license it, Apple can't provide it (software for BD movie playback, that is).
I'm sure Apple's actively working on it since it's something they've mentioned in the press on several occasions.
That said, if you have Windows on your iMac you can get a program
to playback blu-ray movies.
So yeah, technically you CAN watch movies on your mac.
Is anyone here who can confirm that it REALLY works?
I consider buying an external drive and 'WinDVD® 9 Plus Blu-Ray'...
