Problem adding MP3s

Hi there,

I have been having problems adding MP3 for a few days now. Let's take Radiohead - In Rainbows as an example. I download the MP3s, and try to add them to my library and -- nothing. They don't get added to my library. I double click on them and they don't play. However, they play fine in VLC. Any thoughts? I can't imagine what the problem might be. Thanks! BTW - iTunes 8.1.1
