Time Capsule - Permissions Wrong / Corrupt? Can Read, Cannot Write

I have been backing up and restoring to a MacBook Air quite heavily and somewhere along the line permissionso n my Time Capsule have changed. I can no longer back up to Time Capsule: it is now a read-only drive for me. I am the only user on my network. The drive icon has a lock, and in the permissions I am not listed, and I cannot amend them in Get Info. I tried deleteing all my Keychain items for Time Capsule; no difference. I tried connecting to it from another of my Macs which has not been using and abusing backups; no difference. I really do not want to erase my backups as the restore process is not finished to my satisfaction. How do I fix the permissions on a Time Capsule?

MacBook Air SSD, iMac Core 2 Duo and Mac mini Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.6)
