Some people have recommended to me a special cleaner, but what works the best for me is good ol' soap and water. Take a paper towel, wet it slightly and rub some hand soap on the towel (don't use liquid soap, use the bar soap, like Dove). Squeeze out any excess water and begin rubbing the towel tiny circles on the plastic. The dirt should disperse. For some time, it may seem that the computer is getting dirtier, but the dirt is just loosening from the plastics and mixes in with the soap and water. Once you've finished and you've covered all the areas you want. Take another corner of the towel and make it slightly damp, not soaking wet and gently wipe down the areas you just cleaned. Then take a dry corner of the same towel and wipe that down too and
volia!, you have a clean MacBook!
good luck!
