battery fully charged but ipod says "connect to power"

Hello,
I've just bought an ipod nano 2 weeks ago and I seem to have a problem with it. The battery says it's fully charged (after several hours connected to my computer) but after 20-30 mins of use, the message "connect to power" appears on the screen. If I reset the ipod, the apple appears and then it works well. But it keeps doing that, and I was wondering if anyone else might have te same problem, and has found a solution!
Thank you for your help.

I've got this same problem. I've had my iPod nano for over five months now. The unit is telling me two different things: when its plugged into anything, it says the battery's fully charged, but when I unplug it, it says "battery low, connect to power source'. So basically my ipod's acting like the battery's completely drained, and when I try to charge it, it won't accept the charge, telling me its full up.

Please help? My Ipod's my best friend.
