Final Cut Pro 6 Render Farm

Is it possible to use Final Cut Pro 6 in a render farm configuration? I have several iMac's available and would like to network them to cut down my render time. How do I go about setting this up? Is it in combination with Compressor and QMaster ? Thanks for help me out here.

iMac 24" Intel Alu - Early 2009 model, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I'm afraid only Compressor, and Shake can use QMaster to setup a cluster for this. FCP doesn't have the architecture to pull it off.

Definitely handy as far as Compression is concerned. That can never go too fast. Never done a render farm though.

Thanks - but I'm not looking for converting media files from one format to another, I just want to use more processor power (maybe from an external bunch of Mac's) to render my movies within an ongoing project in FCP.

your only choice is to buy the fastest processor currently available.
