photos: converting "web archive" to jpeg

I'm trying to convert photos saved as web archives to jpeg files so they can be filed online. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks, kmballerina.

Hi kmballerina,

The software I mentioned above, free PhotoConverter, should do the trick then. You'll just download the picture to your computer, import it into that application, and it will save as whatever format you'd like (in this case, JPEG).

iPhoto should be able to do it, too, but it's not as easy as the above software. Nonetheless if you want to use iPhoto, drag the picture into iPhoto, select it in the Library once imported, and go to Share > Export. Under the resulting window under File Export, you'll see a drop down list under the label "Format." Choose JPEG as your method of exporting the current picture.

The above is all under iPhoto included with iLife (I'm not sure if you can do the above with the standard iPhoto included with Mac OS X - I can't remember).

If you need more help, post back 🙂
