photos: converting "web archive" to jpeg

You should be able to download the images from the webarchive to your desktop. Just drag the images from the page in Safari to your desktop and they'll save.

Then, you can either open the image in Preview and select "Save As" and choose JPEG, or you can use free PhotoConverter to do the job for you.

The software I mentioned above, free PhotoConverter, should do the trick then. You'll just download the picture to your computer, import it into that application, and it will save as whatever format you'd like (in this case, JPEG).

iPhoto should be able to do it, too, but it's not as easy as the above software. Nonetheless if you want to use iPhoto, drag the picture into iPhoto, select it in the Library once imported, and go to Share > Export. Under the resulting window under File Export, you'll see a drop down list under the label "Format." Choose JPEG as your method of exporting the current picture.

The above is all under iPhoto included with iLife (I'm not sure if you can do the above with the standard iPhoto included with Mac OS X - I can't remember).
