remnant instruments

In my instrument generation panel I still have 2 instruments I thought I had completely removed from my computer...Yet they still show.
Looked everywhere for the buggers to absolutely no avail.
Clicking on their pointer still accesses the components. BUT they don't seem to be found anywhere in my component Folder (that is if I am accessing the right one).
What could I possibly do?
