PSP connectivity on my MACBOOK

Hello there BDAqua, thank you for your time. Okay here is what I'm trying to do. I wanted to upload new games on my memory card. And together with that, back up my songs and movies.

What is happening is that everytime I plug in my PSP using USB cable, it just keeps showing the "CONNECTION" warning. Then a few minutes later, it will stop without any connection.

I guess that's pretty much it. I was wondering if there is any application I should install for me to SYNC with my MAC.

In the third photo, it says

*If the host dose not detect the connected system, go to [SETTINGS] > [System Settings] and set [USB Recharge] to [OFF]. Setting to [OFF] may allow the system to be detected.*

As you can see, I followed what the instructions in "photo03" said, I turned off the CHARGE WHEN PLUG OPTION but still my macbook can not detect my PSP.

I didn't know that you'll have to use the USB cable that comes along with it. I used the regular USB cable I use with my digital cameras and other USB devices.
