iPhone 2G 4GB Model M68AP and problems with 2.x.x firmwares stay with 1.1.4

I have 2g-4GB 1st generation model 0000-s from 2007 and wary odd problem with 2.2.1 & 2.2.0 firmwares.
Restoring with iTunes go fine without the problems and after that constantly reboots than I put him in DFU mode and restore him on 2.1.0. , and start to work fine with some bugs but its ok. What’s really bothers me he was working only ones with 2.2.1 after I restore him from 1.1.4 to 2.2.1 for 3 or 4 days after that he start to reboots himself constantly .Is any1 having idea why he accepted only 2.1.0 firmware?

Since the Original iPhone was never officially released in Serbia, your hack could be causing the problem.

I purchased it in London as simm free and pay a great deal of money in apple center .So the question is?
Is it worth to upgrade our old very well paid phones with new firmware’s or stay with old ones .
I suggest to stick with an old ones 1.1.4.

I run an early 2G iPhone on V2.2.1 firmware on 'T' Mobile in UK. it works very, very well with PUSH email using their Web and Walk service. The iPhone is unlocked and can work with any supporting network provider. I also run Skype on it.

Worth checking out www.hackthatphone.com - they offer excellent guidance on how to check the condition of your iPhone.

I am looking forward to V3.x coming along and WILL take full advantage of it.

What I see nobody knows what is real mark of my model and from where it comes .Here it is a small info:
From /settings/about/model is MA501LL
From /systeminfoplus/model is MA501 platform code M68AP

More than likely what you have is a hacked US iPhone.

The only official seller of the 4gb iPhone in the UK was O2 and they did not sell a SIM free version.

That old junk was working without JB (someone make mistake in china) until 2.2.1 firmware upgrade and that was wrong choice. The point is that first-ones and the oldest are not suitable for firmware’s 2 & 3, doesn’t matter JB or SIMM-Free.

The Original iPhone works fine with 2.2.1 and was not sold in any countries as sim-free except for France and briefly in Germany.

Mixing truth with lies that’s everything what corporate people knows to do.The old iphones are not fit for new firmware the reason is obvious apple force their old customers to buy brand new models every 1-2 years again and again and again with motto build revolutionary cripple than make a fortune with new patches like Microsoft like all others.

All of us on these forums are users just like you. Lots of people have Original iPhones with 2.2.1 on them and they work fine.

You have a hacked phone and you refuse to accept the fact that 2.2.1 is not working for you because it broke whatever hack was used on the phone to get it to work in Serbia.

Not true.

I have an original iphone that has no problems at all with the new software. In fact, no one I know has any issues.
