Merging iTunes libraries

I am going to attempt to move the iTunes library off of my macbook pro as well as my iMac. I'd like to merge both libraries and hook the external hard drive (where I will put them) to my airport extreme so that I can access the same library from both computers. There are also two users on the iMac and two different iPhones associated the different libraries. Is there any easy way to do this?
