Upload Speed - How to improve it?

I know this is probably the wrong place for this post, but I was helped here with my download speed questions.
I am just wondering whether there is any setting I can change in Safari or my Network connection that will improve my upload speed.

I improved my download speed by changing my network settings, so is it possible to change something else to improve my upload speed. I am only getting 0.08 MBs for upload and this seems to effect my ability to use my MobileMe account.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Hi Muz,

First and foremost, what speeds do you think you should be seeing? What does your ISP claim to give you (and who are they)?

Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for your reply. I actually have those numbers already in my DNS preferences. They were given to me a couple of weeks ago on this post, and they did a great job of speeding up my connection time.
I was wondering if there is any way of getting my upload speed adjusted in the same way.

Hi iBod,

Thanks for your reply. I am in Japan and have a cable connection. The upload and download speed are touted as 100Mbps, but, obviously that is unrealistic. I get a download speed average of 3.55 MB/s and a download speed of 0.08 MB/s. These results come from speedtest.net.

The strange thing is that I used to have the same upload and download speed. It was very quick, but now it has dropped to 0.08.

Any ideas?
