Canon Pixma MP620 compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.5

Hi there!

Does anyone know whether Cannon Pixma MP620 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.5? I am planning to buy this cannon printer but i am not sure if it will work ok with my MacBook Pro??

The answer is yes, as long as you follow the installation instructions. If you are going to be using the wireless component of this model, then there are several steps you must follow to configure the printer on your wireless network and then connect to the printer from your Mac.

If you do purchase this model then I would recommend you do not use the drivers included with the printer. These drivers can be out-of-date compared to those available from the Canon web site. I also recommend you only use the v7.12.2 printer driver from the web. Do not use the v10.11.2.0 (CUPS) driver as it can create a couple of installation and operational issues.
