What is eSellerate?

Sounds like it might be malware. I just found it in my /Library/Application Support/ folder.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I think it is adware that installs itself in your system when you buy some stuff online. It's about to get nuked, unless anyone thinks it's a bad idea? I guess not.

It's part of the registration/authentication for some third-party software you've acquired. It's almost certainly not malware.

A web search would have turned up this information for you in a few seconds, BTW.
