Downloading Bank info to Quicken - Data opens "Numbers"

Greetings. I am running into a problem between Quicken and Numbers. When I download data from my bank, the data no longer goes over to Quicken. It goes to Numbers. When I click to open the download, Numbers comes up with the data in table form. And quicken no longer gets the data. How do I correct this ? Roy

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the discussions. Four ways to get your data to open in Quicken come quickly to mind.

1. Launch Quicken, then drag your downloaded file to the Quicken icon in the Dock.

2. Launch Quicken, then File > Open > navigate to your downloaded file.

3. Right-Click or CTRL-Click your downloaded file and choose Open With..., and pick Quicken from the list.

4. (Saved the best for last) Right-Click or CTRL-Click your downloaded file and choose Get Info, under Open With choose Quicken, then Click the Change All button.

Method 4 has changed the default application for the downloaded file type to Quicken. Be aware that if you ever want to open the file with Numbers or TextEdit, etc. you'll now need to use one of the other methods.

Regards,

Jerry
