Printing with Epson R2400 and Macbook pro?

Just got the Macbook pro and am having printing issues with same printer I had with my iMac? I typically use standard Costco paper and hit system managed and was please with prints. Now I'm getting poor results. Any suggestions as to why this is all of a sudden happening?

Also anyway to calibrate my macbook pro with aperture?

To print with Aperture, you should set Print Settings, Color Management, to OFF. And then you choose a Color Sync profile that matches the paper you are using.

If you choose System Managed in the Color Sync profiles, then you have to go through the print commands under Print Settings to make sure that you have set things up properly for the paper you are using and the results you want. "System Managed" doesn't do things by itself. You have to set the individual color print settings in the printer commands.

I'm having the same problem, only I'm printing to a Canon ip6600D. Pictures come out fine with iPhoto, but they're awful with Aperture. I've turned off the printer's color management, selected the right kind of paper, and gone through the whole list of other print settings to be sure they're right (at least I THINK I have), but it's made no difference.
