iPhone screen wont come on

Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Hey there xx I have the exact same problem as the other guy you helped and I've tried holding down the sleep/wake button for 10-15 seconds but unfortunately it is not doing anything. This is the third time today it has done this and I am completely unsure as to why it is doing it. Before I simply just kept pressing the home key or the sleep/wake button and it came on but now it is complete black yet I can still here it when someone rings or texts me. Tis truly annoying and need help!! xx

You need to hold down the Home and Sleep buttons (not just the sleep) and it may take longer than 15 secs. Hold for at least a minute if nothing happens.
