Syncing Audible Books to iPhone

Syncing Audible Books to iPhone

When I sync my iPod I can pick and choose which Audible Books I want to include in the sync.

However, when I try to sync Audible Books on my iPhone, it will only sync ALL the books not just the ones I want. Is this correct for iPhone? Or a glitch?

I really don't want Every Audible Book on my iPhone. As that takes up valuable memory.

Been a while since I synced an audio book.
Forget the exact options it had (and don't have iTunes in front of me).
I recall having some sort of issue that made me end up making a PlayList (eg: Make a playlist named after the book(s) you want) then put them in (in the order you want). Then for syncing choose to sync that PlayList.
You don't need to worry about the audiobook options then.
They will show up under playlists on the phone but also the Audiobook area as well.

You should have a directory in iTunes (under movies and music etc) that is Audiobooks. The Audible download manager will automatically place your downloaded book into this directory. Just make sure the book you want is "checked" in this directory, then go to your iPhone / music sync tab and make sure Audiobooks is checked to sync. Whn you sync, only the books checked in the top Audiobook directory will be transferred to the phone.

One would think only the books checked would be synced with my iPhone. How ever the result I got was ALL the books would be synced. I tried syncing just a few chosen books numerous times. And it never worked. It still synced All my books. I guess it's just a glitch with my phone.
