iMovie HD on MacBookPro

What is the difference between iMovie HD and HD 6?

Will they run on a 2008 MacBookPro? If so, which one is better?

Lennart,

Thanks for your reply. Do you have some experience using iMovie 6 yourself? Any suggestions on the best tutorials/instructions to help learn it? I'm interested in blending still images, video, music and possibly text.

Oh, I'm usually bad at keeping a large amount of my hard drive free. Any idea how much this program needs to work well? Thanks again.

Minimum of 15 GB, better if you have 25 GB or more on your computer's drive. The iMovie application needs to be on the computer's drive, but you can import, edit and export from an external drive if you wish to save space on your computer's drive. Just be sure the external drive is Mac-formatted and connects via Firewire.
