Dec 10, 2012 7:26 AM in response to mprse07by RebDebGordon,I didn't read through the whole discussion, sorry, but as of December 2012 the simplest solution I know is to make Google the link rather than iTunes. Google explains how to set up an account to sync Mail, Notes, and/or Calendars with the appropriate apps on the iPhone (and I imagine that iPod Touch works the same way):

Jan 28, 2013 7:21 PM in response to WebDevGuyby SnakeDog,Not sure if you figured this out, but they key is to use: https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect
Instructions can be found here: https://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=151674&topic=1395 0&ctx=topic
basically you can choose which calendars sync.
This also makes them sync be default to ical, without delegations, so it organizes it WAY better! -

Jun 12, 2014 9:03 AM in response to Jeffasonby jonathanelam,My problem was that some synced with my iphone and some did not, I used this address: https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect and selected the calendars I wanted. You have to enable each separate delegate on your phone.
