Update the prebinding in the Terminal Window

When I was on OSX10.3 on my PPC Macs, I would enter the following command line to update my prebinding:

sudo update_prebinding -root / -force

Now with my MacPro on OSX10.4.11, that command is no longer recognized. Is there a new command?

There is no reason to update prebinding. This procedure was never intended for end users. It is considered unnecessary for any system since OS X v10.3.4. Furthermore, to the extent it is useful at all, it is completely automatic.

Here is what Apple says: [Prebinding Your Application |http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Performance/Conceptual/LaunchTime/Art icles/Prebinding.html]. This is a technical document, aimed at developers, but see the first few paragraphs and the very last paragraph.
