10.5.7 Ram issues
Hello!
I'm not 100% sure it has anything to do with the recent 10.5.7 update but lately the Finder and something called the "kernel_task" have been eating up extremely large amounts of my ram.
This has lead to extreme numbers of "page outs" (currently 14,124!!) (My ram says that I have wired: 244mb, active: 1.13gb, inactive: 486mb, free: 156mb)
NOTE: this information came from my istat
If anyone knows why my system apps are eating that much ram please let me know. it's severally slowing my laptop down...
