Error: Please Try Again- When trying to upload content to iTunes U
Hello,
I am able to log into my site and access the upload and manage files web page just fine. When I upload a file I can see it in the Queue and it uploads till about 1MB of completion then I get "Error: Please Try Again"
Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?
I have tired, but can not reproduce this issue. I have several questions.
1. Have you quit and restarted iTunes?
2. Is this happening on all course pages, or just one?
3. If just one, can you copy the link to the course and paste it in a reply?
4. If more than one, can you turn on the debug page and attach the results?
This is a major problem for us. Currently no one from WSU can upload any m4a or m4v files to any course from any machine. I personally have tried from several machines - Mac, Windows, even Macs which were never used to access the site ever before. Various versions of OS & iTunes ...
Interestingly, PDF files upload fine!

1. I have quit and restarted iTunes numerous times.
1a. I have tried on 3 different Macs, to upload .mp3 files produced by Audacity AND Garage Band. I have tried an .m4v file produced in GarageBand.
2. This is happening on at least two of our test course pages
4. I will have to look into how to turn on the debug page.
Same problem at Suffolk. Happened twice with same error but third time worked.
Also, smart feeds are not working properly. We use them often to copy course content from one course page to another when professors are teaching multiple sections of the same course. The smart feeds are only pulling in the 1st track and no more. We use the smart feed setting "any" and the Course Name, and have done this for the past four semesters without incident. Now suddenly it won't work for new courses we just created this past week.
If you issue with smart feeds is still not resolved, can you please start a new topic on it? We need to keep this topic reserved for the upload issue which appears to be resolved.
