Copy and Print Selected Text

Greetings All!

I'm a new MacBook Pro user and I want to be able to copy and print selected text from a web page using Safari. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Thanks,

Thank you, this seems to work albeit a work around. Don't understand why this can be made to work like Firefox and Explorer. I like the think that Apple always gets it right but not this time.

I see your from Silver Springs, MD. I used to live in Maryland in a small community called Glenco, in north Baltimore County about 30 miles from York, PA just off Interstate 83

what I can figure from your words does work just like IE or Firefox on Windows.

Ports is referring to the fact that in Firefox (on both Mac and Windows) and in IE on Windows, you can Print from within the browser and there is an option to print just the selected text, etc. This option does not exist in Safari, so either a different browser or a 3rd party solution like the Services menu addition is required, or the two step process (copy, paste into a different app, then print).
