Cannot adjust brightness, tint, color, contrast in Quicktime Pro 7.6

What gives? I shoot a lot of video in dark places (I'm a music journalist) on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35, which records in the Quicktime format. I'd like to be able to clean up my footage, yet the sliders for these settings in the A/V Controls are blocked from use. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I appreciate your response, but as intimated above, I went to those controls via the A/V Controls, and while I can see the sliders for brightness, tint, color, and contrast, they are "greyed-out" (dim, and unable to be adjusted). I paid for Quicktime Pro for the purpose of being able to modify the MOV files I'm shooting on my new camera. I fell a little ripped off...

I can't say why the A/V controls are greyed out; it may be to do with your video card. But unless I've missed something, they wouldn't help anyway; those settings affect playback only and are not saved with the movie. If you want to change those settings to be saved, export the movie as a QuickTime movie, click on the Options button, then on the Filter button. Select Special Effects and then Color Tint. You'll be able to make your permanent adjustments there.
