Downloading Script Editor

Question

Downloading Script Editor

Sorry for the silly question, but I've searched for over an hour on apple's website and can't find out how to download Script Editor (it's not on my system - PowerMac G5 10.4.11). Can anyone point me to it?

Aside from using Pacifist, you need to copy it from another system which has it installed; you may or may not be able to get an usable copy of it by running the combo updater for your Mac OS X version or using Pacifist to extract it from there.

Perform a custom install from the Mac OS X 10.4 disks and install only that component if possible; if not, use Pacifist to install it.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I installed Pacifist and searched through the packages on my 10.4 disc and Script Editor wasn't on it. Is there another way to get it?

Would installing developer tools from the installation disk do it?

Probably not; the Script Editor is part of the core OS.
