I have the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT DDL connected to a 30" Dell need drivers

Sorry for double posting. I have in my previous post stated I purchased the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT DDL from ebay with any cd's. Card is running fine aaand at it's native monitor rez 2560x1600. The problem I have is everything on screen is way tiny. Where can I find any drivers for the card. It's the original OEM version from Apple not flashed. Is there a way to increase the size? I stopped by the Apple store and took a look at there Mac Pro and 30" size of images and type were fine. Ive tried searching on-line, Apple and haven't been able to locate anything. Please any ideas?

G5 twin 2.0 Tower, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

The drivers for the card are part of OS X - there is nothing separate to install.

Perhaps you've activated the zoom function in the Universal Access system preference pane? (Although I don't think you can zoom out to make things smaller than they are by default.)

Apps like TinkerTool might help with changing the default font size, but this is not supported by Apple.

I like Steve B's suggestion.

One other thing I can think of off the top of my head:

Your View options aren't messed up, by any chance, are they?

Select the Finder as the active app, select View from the top menu, and choose Show View Option (or just hit Cmd-J). When the window pops open, check your icon size, text size, etc., and see if they're set all the way to the smallest size and then just bump them up some.

I did check the view options and set the icons a bit larger and the type under the icons. The problem is when Im in say safari the menus are very tiny. Increasing the show options has no effect on that part of the interface. Im still trying to figure this out. Thanks for everyone thus far.

Stumbled across your question while looking for something else - i believe the higher the resolution you set the monitor to, the smaller everything will get. I work with dual monitors, and the one with the lower resolution shows EVERYTHING larger.

Hi.

I also own the dell 30" screen too. I have no problems with the size of the text in safari , my picture and text looks fine . You should not need drivers for the monitor os x has the drivers in it . I also own the same video card as you have the nvidia Geforce 6800 gt . My graphics look very good at 2650x1600 maxed out . When you say the the text is very small what do you mean by that . If you have any question let me no so I can help you . As I am typing this I am on the same setup as you .
