Applications Not Opening

i recently synced my iphone with my macbook & now the applications i have purchased/downloaded start to open then just flip back to the main page with all my icons. i've tried restarting my phone twice but it still isn't helping. help?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 provides general tips that will resolve most issues with apps on the iPhone.

Try removing the app from the iPhone and then syncing or downloading it again. You can redownload any application for free, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
