plugging in cintiq 21ux stops internet connection

hello

when i plug in my wacom cintiq 21ux into my macbook pro, my internet connection comes to a stop. this happens when i'm using an ethernet cable and when i'm using airport

when i unplug it, the internet works fine

what can i do to make it so that i can simultaneously keep the cintiq 21ux plugged in and have a working internet connection?

Solved - turns out it's interference (at least with wifi). From Wacom support:

"You’re airport base station should have a choice of channels, please try changing the channel. Wacom Tablets is a radio device and can be affected by RF noise from cell phone towers, metal desks, CRT Monitors, other tablets, cell phones or other electronic or wireless devices.

Lastly, interference is documented pretty well on Wikipedia, here is a link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_interference"
