Opera 9.64 browser download for Mac OSX 1..3.9

Does anyone have any experience to share on downloading and using Opera 9.64 browser on an iMac OSX using 10.3.9? Specifically, did you use the "universal binary" download? Thanks

I don't use Opera; I use Firefox. The requirements for Opera 9.64 are:
Power PC or Intel Mac
OS 10.3 or later.

What site had the description "universal binary"? I believe that refers to being compatible wit PPC or Intel Macs.

Tom, thanks for the reply.

I saw the "universal binary" option on Opera's website. I think it was a page with a technical note about downloading Opera for iMac. It sounds like I won't be able to use Opera because I don't have an Intel Mac or a Power PC. My iMac is the "snowball" type (the white half dome) from five years ago.

Which Firefox are you using and on what type of iMac? Do you know if I would I be able to use Firefox on my computer?

Your iMac is considered a Power PC, so you can use Opera.

Also try the Firefox browser for OS 10.3 (freeware)

Yes. - the other is for Intel only.

I've had Opera since v. 9.50. Now @ 9.64. It even works under 10.2.8.
