Pairing iPhone/BMW Without Pin Number

I accidentally "un-paired" my iPhone with my BMW. In trying to "re-pair" it, I reach the point where the iPhone screen reads, "Enter Pin # for BMWxxxx." I have NO idea what the pin number is. Have tried various obvious number combinations (0000, 1234 etc.) with no success. BMW says its and iPhone issue. Best Buy iPhone folks say it is a BMW issue. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

If you look in the trunk of the car or truck, there is a BMW bluetooth box behind one of the panels. You may need to pop it off but there is a label on it. Your pin number will be a 4 digit number on the sticker. I am surprised BMW didn't tell you that.

NOTE: I had a 2006 X3 and the bluetooth crapped out for no reason. BMW replaced it (the box). That's how I found the new number.
