How to automatically mount a harddrive

Hello, I want my drobo to automatically mount on my desktop.

According to apple article is says do the following:

Mac OSX:
1. From the main window of AirPort Disk Utility enable "Show AirPort Disks in the menu bar".
2. Enter the username and password required to access the AirPort Disk(s).

Well, I have no such programme, I have 'airport utility', but not 'airport disk utility'. Secondly what is the 'main window', thirdly there is no such option on any of the screens of airport utility.

Any help appreciated. Even more ideally I would like to access the drobo via SMB, there is an option in the utility for windows networking. But I do not know what a wins server is, do I need it in conjunction with the workgroup name in order to work?

Thanks
