I can't get the screen-saver up during a slideshow, not sure if that's the usual experience.

One thing you can do is bring the slideshow into keynote. Sort off, any screen-saver ending in .qtz (turn file extensions viewing on in finder or get info) is a Quartz file which will drop straight into Keynote 🙂. Arabesque that ships with Leopard works, just give it a black background.

Any RSS feed tricks and the like will not work though just you basic and not so basic visualisations. Screen-savers are located in System> Library >Screen Savers Folder, Library >Screen Savers Folder, and ~/Library >Screen Savers Folder.

Also some iTunes visualises can be used but lose there sound reactive capacity.

The thing is that I need to create a kiosk with a mac mini and keynote :
The content is clickable but i would like to get a screensaver that comes after a certain amount of time of inactivity. As I said, the screensavers seems to be disabled during a Keynote (the option to allow exposé/dashboard doesn't affect this issue, and I don't want to have to trigger it with a hot corner).

The screensaver I wanted was simple : a slideshow of pictures. I tried to put the pictures in slides, with a timer on each slide, or creating a quicktime .mov with the pictures, but the problem is that when I set a timer to go back to the first slide, the slideshow doesn't start without clicking (neither the .mov or the timer on the slides...)
