PS3 linking to Mac Mini and external Hard Drive?

I have a mac mini with a 500 gb external hard drive connected to it. The hard drive contains all my music and photos. itunes references all my music from he external hard drive. I also use Aperture for my photos and those too are referenced on my external hard drive.


I have a PS3 and would like to be able to connect to my music and photos through my mac and its attached external hard drive. Does anyone know how I would be able to do this?

One other question I have is: Does anyone know how to play Netflix movies via the PS3 and the mac?
