Status -2048 and other new things

Hello,

since short time Version 7.6.0 (1290) says, it could not find a file; previous it reported, which file is missed. (Previous there was in such cases the possibility to search for the missed file...
Since short time iMovie can not import files, because QT can not read, error -2048

Is there anywhere a helpfile? Or can someone imagine what the common reason is?

I also am having this problem, using Windows XP. I am trying to view video taken with my Kodak C912 digital camera. I have 2 files saved that I shot 12/08 and those play fine. The video I shot 6/09 now does not work, I get error 2408 .mov is not a format the Quicktime recognizes. I have done a Windows update in between, any possibility it's a Windows issue? I have uninstalled and re-installed QT a couple of times to no avail, any help or suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
