Connect wireless to DISH Network

I wonder if what I want to do is possible. I have the Apple Extreme Router connected to a Wireless Provider in our area. The Mac Book and iMac both connect to the router wirelessly. I also have an older NetGear B router not connected. I would like to add a internet connection to my DISH receiver to take advantage of their "DISH Remote Access". I do not want to run an Ethernet cable all the way from the Apple Extreme Router to where my DISH box is. Is there any way my Netgear Router can connect wireless to my present network and then run an ethernet cable to the DISH box? If this isn't possible what other suggestion is there to allow me to get the Internet signal to the DISH box wirelessly??

It should be possible to use the Netgear router as a wireless access point. However, you only want one router in the network handing out local IP addresses. You will need to configure the Netgear router to disable it's DHCP function. You will also need to configure it to join an existing network. Since I'm not familiar with the Netgear router I'm not sure if it can be configured to join an existing network. If not then look for the option to operate it in bridge mode. You will also need to configure the AEBS to allow its network to be extended.

It may take some tweaking to get the Netgear into the right configuration to connect to your AEBS wirelessly as an access point. Check it's user manual for additional help.
