The iTunes program is installed and runs by default from the Program Files folder on your computer. You can however keep your library and music on an external (or a second internal) drive: iLounge - Transferring your iTunes Library to Another Drive

Perhaps someone can help me w/ this question. My Itunes library was on an external hard drive that crashed. I downloaded Itunes to a different comuputer and tried to psync my Ipod w/ the new computer and it won't allow me to do so. So, how do I get my Ipod music to work with a new computer?

I stored my Itunes library on my external hard drive which just crashed. My ipod still is intact. I loaded Itunes on my other computer but it won't allow me to download my iPod to the new computer. It says my iPod is already linked to another library but that library is now crashed. How can I now utilize my other computer's library to download my iPod?
