Move itunes content to another disk

I recently bought an external FW800 hard drive and want to move all my itunes contents from the internal hard disk to the external FW800 hard disk.

Is there any information on how to do this? a step by step information?

after reading the article i have a new question:
It is possible to move only SOME contents instead of moving ALL contents ?

Move that content to the external drive, open iTunes, delete the existing instance of it, turn off the option to copy songs to the iTunes music folder in the Advanced section of the iTunes preferences, and drag the content from the external drive into the open iTunes window.
