How to capture video from my sony DCR-IP5 via Firewire into FCE4??

I just got FCE4 today and can't seem to capture video directly from my video camera. I can import from my camera directly into iMovie, but for some reason my camera does not seem to be recognized in FCE4. When I click "Capture" in FCE4, I get a message that says "Unable to initialize video deck. You may still use Capture Now." When I click the Capture Now button, I get a message that says "Attempt to capture video without a device selected. Please select a video device in your capture presets and try again." I have gone to "Easy Setup" and tried every possible Format/Use, and still nothing works. Once again, my video camera DOES work and import with iMovie and it does show up in the System Profiler under Firewire. I just can't seem to get it recognized in Final Cut Express 4. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
