Crucial .com RAM

Hi folks,

After seeing the price of a 1GB module for the G5 sitting at £117 for weeks on end, I was pleasantly surprised when I logged on this morning to see that the price had plummeted (inc VAT) to just £86. Now, with free delivery in the UK (their factory is less than a hour up the road from me via train), that's too good to turn down. Suffice to say, it's ordered and I've received my "Order Processed" email already.

See here:

Just one question, and it might sound really dumb, but when it arrives does it matter which of the two memory sockets I put it in? I had 1GB of generic PC RAM which caused me no end of Kernal Panics, so I just put the 256mb provided with the iMac into the first slot I seen. I know it probably makes not one blind bit of difference, but I thought it better to ask.

Any UK based Mac users here who want to upgrade, I think now's a good time to do so, especially at those prices.

Cheers.
