After updating software on Nano 1G it now freezes or reboots at random!
I updated the software on my Nano 1G through iTunes, and now it crashes or reboots constantly! I can reproduce every time by just skipping tracks. Usually it takes less than 10 or 15 tracks for the Nano to either reboot itself or freeze. Manually rebooting doesn't fix the problem.
I updated the software because the 1G was not always going to sleep. I'd have to occasionally reboot it to get the sleep menu option to work. I figured a software update might fix that.... now a minor annoyance has become a complete show stopper. I can't use my iPod at all anymore.
Is there a way to download an older software version through iTunes? And what's with Apple having no email support?! Real nice way to do business. I have to use a public forum to get any help. That really has me confident about future apple purchases. (For the record, I also own a 3G and air tunes, so I'm a repeat buyer).
