I have a spreadsheet in Numbers/08. I am 'copy and pasting' some of the columns into another format in Pages. I want to merge two of the columns from Numbers into one when I put them in the Pages format, which means there will be 2 names in each of the merged cells. I want them one name beneath the other in each cell but when I try to do this, one name just eradicates the other. How do I get both names in the one cell?
To put two or more names into a single cell one under the other:
Select name is second column cell ~ command c to copy
select cell in first column > put curser after first name ~ option return to put in a carriage return > command v to paste name into cell.

Thanks for this. I'll try it out. After the first try, the previous method suggested stopped working for me. Whenever I press command c to copy, the name is deleted and I just get a "c". I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

enaid,
I quiver at the thought of that much manual labor, so I haven't tried it. I did try my suggestion, as you can see.
