RANE TTM57SL Audio Device Not Working properly

Hello I am a new macbook owner and have discovered a problem that I can't seem to find the answer to. I have this DJ mixer, the Rane TTM 57sl. Essentially it is a audio mixer with a built in usb sound card. The sound card carries two stereo channels in and out via usb. Using the proprietary application the device works as it should. An added benefit to this mixer is that it can be used as a four channel sound card. My problem is that my mac only shows one of the stereo channels. In the sound properties of other macs I have tried this mixer on it shows TTM 57SL Line 1 and TTM 57SL line 2. My mac only shows TTM 57SL Line 2. I have one suggestion from a friend to format my drive and reload everything. I would really like to not do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
