Playlists dont match itunes and some music not in "music" on ipod
my first issue is.....
i manage everything on my ipod manually due to changing computers twice and being forced to manually manage so i can keep my music from my 3 separate computers on the 1 ipod... pain in the butt, yet never mind. ive got a whole TONNE of playlists which work fine in itunes (under the ipod in devices, not the library) and they go in the order i want on itunes (for instance i have the new eminem album and the tracks are in order on itunes) but none of the playlists are in the same order on my ipod! this doesnt bother me so much with albums that have single tracks but with compilations such as drum and bass arena presents: dj hype, the tracks all mix into each other... it really is annoying!!! im quite and experienced itunes user and i stil cant figure out how to copy the playlist orders from itunes to my ipod (classic 120gb) when i manually manage my files.
my second issue which is of more concern is that some of my music files will show up in a playlist, but not in the general music tab. this means that some songs i have added i cant find and delete from the ipod!!! (again because i manually manage my files) this really really REALLY gets on my nerves since i have a load of duplicated tracks that i cannot delete. to best decribe this, its like there is a file ive renamed "name: delete, artist: delete, album: delete, etc..." which is on the ipod in my "recently addded" playlist and was formerly in a smart playlist (until i renamed it)... but it is not in the "music" tab just above the playlists!!! (please ignore the actual itunes library at the top of the left sidebar as i dont use it...) i cant figure why it wont show the songs i want to delete in the music tab so i can ACTUALLY DELETE THEM... and why they show in the other playlists and are playable if theyre not listed in the music tab!!! WTH!!!
any advice thats remotely usefull on how to resolve either of these issues would make my year!!! thanks,
