Connecting A Flash Camcorder (Sony Webbie HD MHS-CM1) to a New Aluminum

I do a lot of video which was the reason for getting a Mac. However, I guess my luck is just that good that the MacBook I got does not connect to older camcorders. So, since I've been trying to find a new inexpensive camcorder that would work with my MacBook. I think I've found one. If anyone can give a little insight to the Sony Webbie HD MHS-CM1 and how it works with a Mac, it would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone uses a flash or hard drive can explain how it works with the new Aluminum MacBook, please let me know.

Any other comments on the camera or video with iMovie '09.

Thanks in advance everyone!

I hate to say it, but this is not about a lack of good luck, it is about a lack of good research. Do your homework before buying a $1000+ computer.

In regards to the Webbie, this is is a list of all cameras compatible with iMovie 09:

It lists the Webbie as compatible, and also details some issues you may have while using it.
