Tahoma font in Arabic

Hi there,
One of my workstations stops recognize Tahoma font when writing in arabic!!!
It's use different font (I guess it's Arial) when write arabic using Tahoma in Adobe apps.
I tried to Resolve Duplicates in Font Book but nothing happened.
Also I delete the font and re-install it, same problem.
Even when login using different user the problem appears.

I faced this problem before and solve it, but I can't remember how!!! (never ever forget to log anything in the tickiting system ).

This problem appears on all apps even TextEdit.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced.

Standard Adobe apps for Mac don't do Arabic. Are you using the special ME versions? You might want to ask in the Adobe forums.

Regarding TextEdit, Tahoma is not recognized for doing Arabic on my 10.5.7. Only Geeza Pro, Arial, Times, Times New Roman and a few others. Do you see Tahoma listed in the Font Variation pane of Character Palette (view = Code Tables, Tab = Unicode, 00000600 Arabic)? Did you add a different version of Tahoma to your machine?

Thanks Tom,
Yes am using Adobe CS3 ME versions.
Tahoma isn't listed in the Font Variation pane, but it was working before couple of days but now it's not!!!
Go to Font Book select Tahoma font and press Comand + I (Preview->Show Font Info) and look in the language u can find Arabic.
Really it's strange!!
I have Tahoma Version 3.14.

Yes, but normally Apple apps cannot use Windows Arabic fonts. In TextEdit this became possible with 10.5, but not with all of them I think. Do you have a machine where Tahoma still works? Sometimes it looks like a font is working but really the OS has substituted another font. Or perhaps 10.5.7 changed the fonts recognized for this script.

The Tahoma with Leopard is supposed to be 5.01.
