Installing Blue RAY Burner

Hi ALL,

I have a 2007 Mac PRO ...

I had installed LG GGW-H20L Blue Ray inside the ODD compartment with few mods.

-Since the LHG writer is a SATA one i had used a convertor which gets itself powered from IDE power cable
-Since both the IDE convertor's IDE cable & onboard IDE cable has female 40 holed ends i mated them with a small made IDE Male-Male cable

Now the LG writer is powerd & is recognised on MAC OS X but i still cant burn any DATA or BD-RE disk on supplied LGRE disk. thru encore CS4 ...

Pl help me where am I going wrong ???

when i checked my two ODD DVD writer in IDE connection & BD writer in SATA connection onboard SATA connection i see this in Disk UTILITY

Disk Description : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D Capabilities : Click for more information
Connection Bus : ATAPI
Connection Type : Internal
Burn Support : Apple Shipping

====
Disk Description : HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L Capabilities : Click for more information
Connection Bus : ATAPI
Connection Type : Internal
Burn Support : Unsupported

for HL-DT * the LG BD writer burn support is said to be Unsupported.

Can any one help me as i installed the Toat 10 with HD upgrade & tried to erase the BDRE disk it went on endlessly so i had to kill the program & then i tried to burn the ISO on BDRE then it rendered the file thereafter Toats is showing formatting 0% with time left as 00:37 but this mini screen is there on screen for last half hour.

Pls advice as to how much time will it take to write a simple 5minute mpeg2 rendered without any audio in no menu mode on a BDre disk on LGHL20 BD writer.
